Volunteer Committees List
Listed below are the areas in which we need help, and a brief description of the duties and responsibilities of each. If you would like more information on volunteering for the Emerald Coast Classic, contact Selina Maddox.
Thursday – Sunday: Committee members are posted at admission gates to greet and check spectators for proper credentials. Volunteers will also handle Will Call and General Information.
Committee Hours:
Two shifts daily from 7:00 am – 12 pm and 12 pm – 4:00 pm.
Thursday – Sunday: Assist corporate sponsors in hospitality areas by checking for proper credentials, meet and greet, oversee general flow and provide information to the corporate guests. Minimal walking or standing.
Committee Hours:
Two shifts daily from 9:00 am – 1:00 am and 1:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Thursday – Sunday: Volunteers will be assigned practice areas and holes. Marshals will be responsible to control the flow of spectators behind the ropes, and the players and officials inside the ropes. Moderate walking and standing.
Committee Hours:
Two shifts Thursday – Friday from 7:00 am – 12:30 pm and 12:30 pm – 6:00 pm. Saturday & Sunday one 6 hour shift per hole assignment.
Monday – Sunday: Responsible for shuttling players and caddies from green to tee on several holes on course. Must have a valid driver’s license. Minimal walking or standing.
Committee Hours:
Two shifts daily from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Monday – Sunday: Crowd control in practice area and distribution of balls to the players or caddies. Moderate level of walking, standing and moderate physical labor.
Committee Hours:
Two shifts daily from 6:00 am – 12:00 pm and 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Monday – Sunday: Responsible for distribution beverages to on-course locations. Must have a valid driver’s license. Moderate level of walking, standing and moderate physical labor.
Committee Hours:
Two shifts daily from 6:00 am – 12:00 pm and 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Wednesday – Sunday: The scoring tent volunteers ensure that the official scorecards are verified and signed by the professionals. Light walking and standing.
Committee Hours:
Two shifts from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Thursday – Sunday: A walking scorer will accompany each group of players, use a hand held device to track statistics and results, and report scores by radio to Scoring Control. It is essential to have knowledge of golf and be in good physical condition with the ability to walk 18 holes at a pace to keep up with the players.
Committee Hours:
Volunteer Shifts will be Player tee times.
Monday – Sunday: Provide volunteer hospitality functions during the tournament. Check-in volunteers, set up, and maintain food and beverage areas. Assist Marshal Chairpersons with on-course lunch and beverage delivery. Minimal walking or standing.

Two shifts daily from 6:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:00pm.
